How we plan to improve accessibility in the Apply System
Our accessibility roadmap shows how and when we plan to improve accessibility on apply.swan.ac.uk:
- Fix critical issues affecting keyboard users on the Personal Details and Qualifications sections.
- Add unique titles to all pages.
- Add a skip to main content link.
- Test and add aria roles to status messages and alerts were applicable.
- Add correct headings and landmark roles to all pages.
- Fix contrast issues with dashboard and cymraeg buttons.
- Add focus rings to buttons when tabbed.
- Investigate processes to monitor and automate accessibility compliance testing of the Apply System to establish a culture of continuous improvement with accessibility in the university.
This work will be undertaken over the next 12 months.
