As soon as you know your Swansea address, you should apply for your mytravelpass. It’s a free pass, there’s no admin fee and you’ll get one third off all your bus travel!

If you're aged under 22 when you start at Swansea University, you're eligible to save some money with mytravelpass.

What is it?

mytravelpass is a bus pass that gives those aged 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 discounted travel. These discounts apply to app and on-bus purchases, including termly and annual bus passes. mytravelpass rates do not apply to Tap On Tap Off.

Where can I use it?

You can use this pass on any bus in Wales, not just on First Bus network. 

How much is it?

The pass itself will cost you nothing! Presenting your pass to the bus driver will give you up to a third off the ticket price. The pass will last up until your 22nd birthday.

Where can I buy it?

You can apply for mytravelpass over on the scheme website or by calling 0300 200 22 33 and requesting a paper application form. You must live in Wales to be eligible for the mytravelpass. Your student accommodation does count, so don't worry. Once you've sorted your accommodation out, make sure you sign up. It's free after all!

All students in full-time education are eligible to apply for the Young Persons 16-25 Railcard, which includes mature (over 25) students.

You're entitled to a Concessionary Travel Card if you're an eligible disabled person and your primary residence is in Wales.

If you're a disabled person and your condition limits your ability to travel alone you may be able to get a companion card that will allow someone else to travel with you for free.

The two bus stops on the Singleton Park Campus are located outside Fulton House which is the main building you see when you arrive on campus.

If you need to catch any of the other local services that don’t come onto campus, there are bus stops out on the main road in front of the campus.

At the Bay Campus, the bus stop is located to the east of the residence buildings on the west side of the Computational Foundry building. You can see the bus stop location on the campus map: Bay Campus Map. 

For other services that don’t come onto campus, there are stops out on the main road, just outside the front of the campus.
