What are your top 3 favourite things about Swansea?
- The walkability is great, I do not need a car, nor do I need to pay for a bus
- The variety of things to do here, like shops, entertainment and restaurants
- The natural things like beach and parks, and the way there is nature nearby

Why did you choose to study your degree at Swansea?
I chose Swansea because of it’s rating for employment prospects for students. As a graduate student, my career and future are very important. They are why I am studying.

What is your favourite thing about your course?
I love that we get a work placement as part of the course. It allows us to get experience working in our field.

What are you planning/hoping to do after you graduate?
I am hoping to get a job in the UK since there are a lot of exciting and interesting heritage jobs here.

Would you recommend Swansea University to other students?
I would, because I think they offer a wide variety of courses and show a lot of care and kindness toward students. I do not feel like a faceless number here. I feel valued.

Have you undertaken a work placement as part of your course?
I am currently in the Heritage Work Placement for my course, and I really love it. I am getting to see aspects of heritage work that I have not seen before and improving my skillset for future employment.

Have you worked part-time during your degree?
The only work I have done has been through the Student Ambassadors and it is a great experience. I have limited hours because of my visa, and with the hours being so flexible I do not have to worry about having my work placement at the same time. I also really appreciate that when busy with schoolwork.

Have you accessed student support at Swansea University?
I have used student support for help with my learning disabilities. They were very helpful and made sure I was in contact with the right people. I also had a wonderful experience with the lovely people on campus who allowed me to use their phone when I first arrived here and did not yet have a phone set up. They really care about us here.
