I am interested in a broad range of fundamental questions on the interface between cosmology and particle physics. In particular understanding the nature and origin of past and present acceleration, i.e. cosmological inflation and dark energy, as well as the nature of dark matter, in terms of a fundamental theory of quantum gravity such as string theory.
