Swansea University Sport Scholarship Applications

We welcome applications from students competing at an advanced level in their chosen sport who are looking to combine sporting excellence with their studies at Swansea University.

How to Apply

Applying for a Swansea University Sport Scholarship is simple and completed through our online application form.

To be considered, you will need to provide as much supporting evidence as possible to demonstrate your current sporting level and potential. This should include:

· Details of your current sporting achievements and competitive level

· Your future sporting goals and aspirations

· Two named references to support your application

· Your UCAS number (if you are applying to Swansea University) or your student number (if you are a current student)

Application Process

Applications for the 2026–2027 Swansea University Sport Scholarship Programme are now open.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will remain open until the maximum allocation of 60 scholarships for the academic year has been reached.

Applications submitted will be reviewed at the following points throughout the year:

· 31 August 2026

· 26 October 2026

· 25 January 2027

· 22 March 2027

Applicants can expect to receive an outcome after the next scheduled review date following submission of their application.

As scholarship places are limited, we strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible. Please note that applications may close before the final review date if all scholarship places have been allocated.

Future Applications

Applications for the 2027–2028 academic year will open on 1st April 2027.
