Collaborate with Us Here at ASTUTE 2020+

ASTUTE 2020+ will collaborate with the High-Value Manufacturing industry across Wales to stimulate transformational & sustainable growth by facilitating and de-risking the development and adoption of advanced technologies, increasing competitiveness and future proofing.

ASTUTE 2020+ already operates across North and West Wales and the South Wales Valleys. Thanks to an extra EU funding boost, it will now be rolled out to support businesses across the rest of Wales, including Cardiff, Newport, Vale of Glamorgan, Monmouthshire, Powys, Flintshire and Wrexham.

Who Can ASTUTE 2020+ Support?

Manufacturing companies in Wales across a variety of sectors, including aerospace, automotive, energy generation, oil and gas, medical devices, electronics and food etc. . Companies outside of Wales can be considered if the economic benefit of the RD&I project is realised in Wales in a bigger partnership.

Collaborative Projects

Proposals for collaborative RD&I projects will be developed by the industrial partner together with a dedicated ASTUTE 2020+ technical manager and will require approval by an industrial-academic committee before a project can proceed. Find out more about the process here.
