Swansea University’s Cultural Development Fund brings together support for students who are developing their creative practice and for students and societies seeking to create cultural activity across the University.
The Fund balances artistic excellence with wider participation through two complementary programmes: Creative Arts Scholarships and the Cultural Opportunities Fund.
Creative Arts Scholarships recognise students demonstrating a high level of achievement and potential in their chosen discipline. Scholars receive financial support and take an active role in the cultural life of the University while continuing to develop their practice.
The Cultural Opportunities Fund extends support more widely, helping individual students, societies and collaborative groups create projects, develop skills and increase opportunities for cultural participation.
Together, these programmes support both depth and breadth within Swansea’s student creative community.
