My eldest son has graduated from Swansea University, and he is now in the midst of finishing his PhD at Cambridge University. Recognising the quality of teaching at Swansea University, I enrolled my daughter to Swansea university as well. She is now in the 3rd year of her Engineering Course.

My family preference for Swansea is very much influenced by the facts that Swansea is a nice and safe place to live, it has a conducive environment for learning, the community is approachable and friendly, the cost of living is reasonable and they have marvellous campuses at Singleton and at Bay. Certainly, the sea, the green and the hill make Swansea a remarkable place."

Swansea University was my son's first choice for his undergraduate study right from the first contact at an education fair in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We were very much impressed with the presentation of the university then but we were even more impressed during a private tour of the university when we visited UK soon after.

The Bay Campus and its engineering school is first class. Being able to speak with academic staff and a few engineering students there was very enlightening. We were so grateful for that opportunity. Happy to say one of my son's closest friends also went on to study in Swansea University last year.
