Having chosen a Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting degree at Swansea University, you will already have a year abroad integrated in your course and no doubt will have given plenty of thought to where you will go and what you will do during the third year of your course. There are a number of options for you to consider:

  1. Study at a partner university
  2. Complete a British Council Language Assistantship
  3. Complete a work placement overseas

Below you will find a list of the partner universities for each language department. If you are interested in a Teaching Assistantship or Work Placement then you will need to inform your Academic Coordinator in the first instance. Options available to you may be limited by external factors, such as travel restrictions and capacity at partner universities.
