Accessible Buildings and Campus

At Swansea University, we are committed to creating campuses that are accessible, inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

We want students, staff and visitors to be able to access and use our buildings, facilities and services with confidence. As part of this commitment, we continually review and improve our campuses, helping to remove barriers and enhance accessibility across our estate. This includes considering accessibility as part of campus development, maintenance and refurbishment projects.

AccessAble Guides

To support visitors in planning their journey and navigating our campuses, we have partnered with AccessAble to provide detailed accessibility guides for a wide range of buildings, facilities and services. The guides include practical information on:

  • Accessible parking and drop-off points
  • Step-free access and routes
  • Building entrances and reception areas
  • Lifts and accessible facilities
  • Teaching, study, sport and social spaces
  • Other accessibility features and services
