For Teachers

The ELTS community team are a group of volunteers from ELTS, other Swansea University departments, and the wider community. We work together to provide beginner level English language classes for learners within the community who need access to them.

We began this project 6 years ago, and we’ve kept it running since. We have now taught students from over 70 countries.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have had to adapt our practices and move our classes online. This has allowed us to reach more learners and provide even more classes.

There are a range of volunteer roles available on the project.

If you are interested in volunteering with us and would like to find out more please complete the application form and send it to elts@swansea.ac.uk.
