Course Overview

Designed for curious, forward-thinking minds, who are ready to gain a deeper understanding of how organisations work, ideas grow and how change happens on a local and global scale.

Our BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) incorporates modern languages with a distinctive business degree, that will empower you with the specialised skills needed to succeed in local, national and global business management. You will explore the values that define modern business – sustainability, inclusivity, ethics, and innovation, and discover how you can make a difference.

BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) encompasses essential aspects of business and management, whilst also giving you the opportunity to acquire competence in a modern language. You will explore various languages through taster sessions, allowing you to experience Mandarin, French, Italian, German and Spanish before selecting one language as your focus. As you progress, you will advance from beginner’s language modules to intermediate and discover how to use your foreign language in a professional environment.

The optional Foundation Year for this programme can give you an exciting introduction to higher education, setting you up with the skills, confidence, and knowledge that you’ll need to be successful in your undergraduate degree. It’s ideal if you need a little more support after further education, or are returning to education after a gap. Following successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress onto Year 1 of your BSc.
