APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER 2024 HAVE NOW CLOSED

Intern USA allows you to live and intern in the USA for up to 2 months. BUNAC will guide you through the process of obtaining the job and visa needed to intern in almost any industry. There are different types of internships available including:

Fashion - Admin/Logisitics/Press
Marketing - Social Media/Communications
Production - Theatre/Film
Tourism - Admin

The United States has a strong internship culture, with most industries from finance to food hosting an internal paid or unpaid internship program.

In a competitive job landscape, having a USA internship on your CV can help to launch your career. You’ll get world-class training in your chosen field, build a network of valuable contacts, and show future employers you have the motivation to move abroad.

Costs and Funding

Costs will depend on the duration of the programme. Please complete our online bursary application form and we can let you know how much funding is available.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Funding may be Taith, Turing or Go Global funding.
Any programme days beyond 31st August 2024 will not be funded.
If you fail to participate in the entire programme, you will be required to return any funding received

Eligibility

Students must be enrolled at Swansea University
Students cannot be in the final year of study
Postgraduate students can apply for funding but must provide evidence that their academic supervisor approves of their participation.
International students should speak to International@CampusLife to check the impact of the work placement on their Student Route visa

Widening Participation Criteria

annual household income of £25,000 or less (rising to £30,000 for Go Global bursaries)
students receiving Universal Credit or income-related benefits (for Taith and Turing only)
care leavers and care experienced students
care givers (excludes Taith)
estranged students.
refugees and asylum seekers.
first international or professional experience (for Santander only)

We do not recommend making any financial commitments to your chosen programme until you have received funding eligibility email and further guidance from Swansea University.
