What are your top 3 favourite things about Swansea?
- The people- I had heard even before coming here that everyone's super friendly, and now it's amazing to be a part of such a warm community!
- The parks- I love walking to campus through the Brynmill and Singleton parks, it's so relaxing!
- The local transport- it is very easy and convenient to go anywhere in the city!

Why did you choose to study your degree at Swansea?
I had heard from many people that Swansea is the perfect student city especially for international students, as it's not so big that we get lost, but also, it's not so small that there's nothing to do. People are helpful, everyone's warm and easy to talk to. Plus, the university had exactly the kind of course I was looking for with the perfect balance of practical and theory. The student services, I read online, were top-notch.

What is your favourite thing about your course?
That it's the perfect balance of practical and theory. If one assignment is theoretical, the next one is fully practical. Plus, there are amazing facilities like the media creativity suite and all the camera equipment. Our cohort is diverse with people from all around the world, so that makes it even more interesting.

What are you planning/hoping to do after you graduate?
Haven't finalised yet, but either going to join a PR agency or go into documentary/film production.

Would you recommend Swansea University to other students?
Yes, definitely! I love how the university cares for its students. Whatever the kind of problem we may have, there's always someone to talk to. I love how the departments and the CONNECT programs runs fun activities and events like laser tag and knitting and golf. Plus, the library services are absolutely amazing and the teaching staff is just brilliant.

Have you worked part-time during your degree?
Yes, I'm currently doing a part-time internship. As I got it through the university, the employer is flexible with the working hours and accommodates my other commitments. It's been a month and so far, it's going pretty well. I just need to plan my work ahead and make sure I get started on my assignments well in time. But it's really not as stressful as I thought it would be. In fact, it gives me a nice break from my studies while still being a good learning opportunity.
