Hi, I am Badmaa, a graduate of Swansea University, where I completed my BEng (Hons) and MSc in Civil Engineering degrees. I have nearly eight years of professional experience in the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors, covering the full project lifecycle; from concept and detailed design to fabrication, construction, and commissioning.

Why Did You Choose Swansea?

I chose Swansea University for my MSc studies because of its strong emphasis on Advanced Structural Design & Analysis and Advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The research and problem-solving skills I gained at Swansea University have been invaluable throughout my professional career. 

How Did Your Degree Prepare You for Your Career?

Swansea trained me to approach engineering challenges systematically, combining analytical thinking, theoretical knowledge, and practical application, which has directly supported my ability to resolve complex technical and managerial problems in the workplace.

Your Career

I have worked as a Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineer with Worley, and I am currently working as a PMO Manager at Mon-Energy Group, where I manage multiple engineering projects and lead initiatives to improve project management efficiency through digital transformation.

My current focus is on developing and implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) management systems and document management automation tools to support digitalisation across the organisation. By integrating these systems, my goal is to enhance collaboration, accuracy, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle, aligning with modern engineering and construction best practices.
