About

Suzanne is a subject senior lecturer for English in initial teacher education and began her career as an English teacher working in schools in South Wales. Before moving from the classroom into teacher education in 2023, Suzanne was an experienced lead practitioner and research lead.

Suzanne is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD), the focus of which is sources of self-efficacy in teachers’ vocabulary instruction.

Suzanne is interested in evidence-informed practice, particularly regarding approaches to improving literacy outcomes.

Suzanne is also an experienced WJEC examiner.
