About

Megan Davies is a Research Assistant at the Swansea Centre for Health Economics (SCHE), based in the School of Health and Social Care, having joined the team in 2024. Her current research interests focus on diabetes, eye care and mental health, with expertise in data analysis and decision modelling.

Alongside her role at SCHE, Megan is undertaking an MSc by Research in Health Economics, exploring diabetic eye care pathways using health economic modelling. Her work aims to generate evidence that supports healthcare decision-making and service improvement.

As part of her role, Megan contributes to a range of health economics projects, applying analytical and modelling techniques to evaluate healthcare services and interventions. Prior to joining SCHE, she completed a BEng in Medical Engineering, which provided a strong foundation in quantitative methods and healthcare research.
