Each year, Swansea University strives to achieve TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) accreditation to ensure we are providing a high-quality experience for our student athletes, as they attempt to balance their studies alongside their sporting commitments.
Swansea University was the first Welsh University to be TASS dual-career accredited in 2018. Since then, we have worked closely with TASS to grow our performance lifestyle and dual-career provision to ensure the very best support for our high-performance athletes on their journey towards academic and sporting success.
We are delighted to confirm that we have successfully passed this year’s TASS audit and retain our TASS dual-career status.
We are also thrilled to announce that we are now a TASS Delivery Site! As one of just two Welsh University’s to be an accredited site, this is an exciting opportunity for us to support and develop elite athletes competing in world class programs, major games and championships.
We’re looking forward to continuing our work with TASS to develop our dual career provision and build our expertise as an accredited delivery site.
