To support our ambitions, we are proud to launch our new Elite International Sports Scholarship (EISS) for international student athletes who wish to pursue academic and sporting excellence.

Our high-performance team and support staff at Swansea University are qualified and experienced industry professionals, with substantial insight into the pressures and demands of elite performance and dual career. We offer athletes who are successful on the EISS program an unrivalled support package to ensure both academic and sporting success.

Our EISS Support package includes:

  • Tuition fee scholarship of £5,000 per annum for three years of undergraduate study.
  • A prestigious Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) dual career place on the University’s high-performance programme, with academic flexibility and support provided through the TASS.
  • A dedicated performance lifestyle practitioner providing you with tailored, one-to-one support.
  • An individualised strength and conditioning plan, with sessions tailored to your needs.
  • Sport psychology support.
  • Nutritional support.
  • Physiotherapy and osteopathy support.
  • Access to CT and MRI scanning on site.
  • Individualised sports injury rehabilitation.
  • Fitness testing.
  • Anti-doping education.
  • Access to a series of workshops designed to support the demands of balancing a dual career, enhancing performance, and supporting employability and future career planning.
  • Free access to the University gyms and swimming pool.
  • Free on-site parking on both Singleton and Bay Campus.
