Key Information

How can education be used to address the climate crisis? We seek innovative proposals that look at different aspects of education from primary through to higher education, seeking to understand how to teach climate change in an effective way. Projects in this area could take a whole-school approach, focus particularly on institutions such as ESTYN or OFSTED, or engage with learners.

Previous work in this area has included developing game-based learning for secondary school pupils, writing books to teach about fast fashion in primary schools, running teacher CPD, developing policy pathways for net zero by 2035 and understanding how to approach climate change education in special schools and alternative provision.
