Undergraduate January Entry

The timetable for undergraduate courses it that you will start in January and finish your course in September, and then go directly into the 2nd year, where your course will follow the traditional pattern.

At the moment we are offering students (for most courses) a choice of online only study, or a blended approach, where some teaching will be online and some will be in person, on campus.

Yes – you will have time off for Easter and Christmas. 

You will get the results of your first year in September, then if you have completed the first year successfully, you can enrol onto year two straight away. Teaching for year two will start in October and you will follow the usual undergraduate teaching timetable from then on.

The student experience is different this year and our university community has to comply with government guidelines. Students have formed a household bubble with the people they live with, whether that’s in university halls of residence or in private accommodation. They are socialising with those people.

We have built outdoor social spaces where students have been socialising, with food and drink available. These spaces are also used for film nights, pilates and yoga classes. Students are still playing sport and taking part in the activities of their clubs and societies. The gym has will be open when government guidelines say it is possible to do so.
