Expression of Interest – Gender Identity Training, provided by Stonewall

The Faculty EDI Committee, FEDIC, are working in partnership with the Student Experience and Information Team, led by Mia Webber, Student Experience Coordinator, to create a LGBT+ Allyship Programme.

A student ‘Have Your Say’ event was organised and took place in February with great success. Liaising closely and in agreement with students, the first phase of the programme will consist of Gender Identity training for members of Staff, provided by our external partners, Stonewall.

To commemorate PRIDE, the Gender Identity training event, provided by Stonewall, will take place on Wednesday 29th June, from 12:00-13:30.

Our numbers are limited, therefore, on behalf of FEDIC and the Student Experience and Information Team, expressions of interest from members of staff who would like to attend the training session are invited. The participation of both academic staff and Professional Services would be most welcome.
