Students studying together

If you choose to study at Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO) you will based at the campus in Angers, the capital of the Maine-et-Loire department in the northwestern region of the Loire Valley in France. UCO has a vibrant campus life, giving students the opportunity to meet outside the classroom and to discover and enjoy the richness and diversity of UCO’s student population. UCO community life includes a total of 24 cultural and sport clubs and organisations, and a wide range of events and highlights supervised by the Cultural Office take place throughout the year, such as the Joutes (recreational sports contests) and Cathocalypse (an electro-acoustic music concert) so there are plenty of ways you can get involved in life at UCO. There is a choice of accommodation, ranging from university residences to private accommodation in the city and UCO’s Accommodation Service can advise you of your options.

It will not be possible to complete a year abroad at this University if you have any assessments, such as supplementary or deferred exams, during the August assessment period at Swansea University.
