Prof. Carlos Garcia de Leaniz wins Science and Innovation Management Award
CSAR Director Prof. Carlos Garcia de Leaniz dedication and commitment to river restoration has been recognised with a recent nomination in the category of Science Innovation & Management by Falling Walls, a category he went on to win, you can read his interview here.
The award was in recognition of research undertaken in the AMBER project, research that resulted in the creation of the first comprehensive atlas of river barriers in Europe (the AMBER barrier atlas) which now holds over 800k records and is being added to by citizen scientists almost daily.
