‘Are salmon facing extinction from the rivers of Wales?’ Senedd debate May 2023
The findings of a recently published report were debated at the Welsh Parliament/Senedd Cymru yesterday, with Atlantic salmon species champion, Huw Irranca-Davies SM, speaking in detail about the plight of the species.
Mr Irranca-Davies spoke about how, in the not too distant future, the Salmon could be just a name on a sheet of paper and nothing more and that this species are vital to Wales, are part of its history, culture and economy.
