At Swansea University we offer students, staff and the local community opportunities to get involved in our work to improve practices across our campuses and help us continue to lead the way in developing a more sustainable future for all. We regularly hold working groups across the year on a variety of sustainability topics including carbon management, Fairtrade, environmental management and waste. Baby Loss Awareness Week - Break the Silence (Service with the Chaplaincy) 09/10/2019 12pm - 1pm Mall Room, Taliesin (ground floor), Singleton Campus Staff & Students

Baby Loss Awareness Week wants to help those families and friends that have or know someone that has lost a child by remembering, raising awareness and driving change.

Nature Trail Walk - Autumnal Delights 22/10/2019 12:30 - 13:30 Singleton Campus Staff and Students Meet outside Fulton House for a gentle lunchtime stroll aound Singleton Campus with Ben our Biodiversity Officer. Look, learn and discover just some of the autumnal delights that our park campus has to offer.
Switch On! 22/10/2019 10am - 3pm School of Management, Bay Campus Staff and Students Come and meet the Dr Bike team for free advice and guidance on winter cycling. Free bike lights, locks and puncture repair kits available to all those that cycle onto campus.

Make Your Own 'Upcycled' Hallowen Costume 30/10/2019 11am - 3pm Central Area, Taliesin (ground floor) Students Every year tonnes of new halloween costumes are bought and quickly discarded, creating a huge amount of material wasted. But, why not prolong the Halloween fun and bring along some of your old clothes and get creative and make your own.  Students' Union Led. Supported by Sustainability team.
