At Swansea University we offer students, staff and the local community opportunities to get involved in our work to improve practices across our campuses and help us continue to lead the way in developing a more sustainable future for all. We regularly hold working groups across the year on a variety of sustainability topics including carbon management, Fairtrade, environmental management and waste. Monthly Beach Clean 06/11/2019 1pm - 4pm Bay Campus Beach Staff, Students & Public Come and join Ben the Biodiversity Officer on his monthly beach clean. Meet at the board walk (behind the Great Hall) at 1pm or come and find us on the beach anytime up until 4pm. All equipment provided. Please dress for the weather.  
Cycle to Work Roadshow 19/11/19 10am - 3pm Fulton House foyer, Singleton Campus Staff Come and meet the Cycle Solutions team and have a chat about getting yourself a new bike through the Cycle to Work Scheme. 
Book Club 21/11/2019  12.30pm - 1.30pm Taliesin Create (ground floor), Singleton Campus  Staff and Students Come and join us for an informal chat and natter about this month’s book. Read it, listen to it or just come along if you want to hear all about it. For further information contact the Sustainability Team    
The Green Fayre (external event) 23/11/19 - 24/11/19 TBC  National Waterfront Museum Staff, Students & Public With over 75 stalls and 4000 visitors in 2018, the Green Fayre is a unique shopping experience with the environment at its heart. Discover fresh tasty produce, talented crafts people and be inspired on how to live more sustainability. 
Swell Roadshow/Sustainability Award Drop in Session 27/11/19 12pm - 2pm The College, Bay Campus Staff & Students Would you like to find out more about the student sustainability award or check your progress? Maybe you are a staff member and you want to speak to a member of the sustainabilty team to share SWell idea you have? For further information contact the Sustainability Team

Singleton Staff Wellbeing Day 28/11/19 10am - 4pm Taliesin, Singletn Campus Staff and Students An opportunity for staff to find out information on various aspects of wellbeing, experience some alternative therapies, socialise with one another in an informal setting and try out taster sessions of different activities. A number of external agencies and companies, as well as staff members are offering their services free on this day so please take full advantage of this opportunity! Event organised by the Singleton Staff Wellbeing Group.
Blackout - The Big Switch Off 29/11/19 5.30pm - 8.30pm Singleton and Bay Campuses Staff and Students Come and join the sustainability team for the annual Big Switch Off across our campuses. Free food for all participants! For further information contact the Sustainability Team
