Get Involved in Sustainability Related Events, Activities and Initiatives

At Swansea University we offer students, staff and the local community opportunities to get involved in our work to improve practices across our campuses and help us continue to lead the way in developing a more sustainable future for all. We regularly hold working groups across the year on a variety of sustainability topics including carbon management, Fairtrade, environmental management and waste. Chasing the Tide - Beach Walk 18/9/20 12:30pm - 1:30pm Bay Campus Staff and Students 

Join the warden one of the lowest tides of the year on a one hour walk to the low tide mark at Crymlyn Burrows, looking for beach wildlife and to see the city from a different perspective. Paddling involved, wellies or sandals essential – no bare feet!

SSSI Walk for Freshers 23/9/20 1pm - 2pm Bay Campus. Meet at the Boardwalk. Students

Singleton Nature Trail Walk 24/9/20 1pm - 2pm Singleton Campus. Our Sustainability Award is available to any student, of any subject, in any year of their degree!

It's formally recognised alongside your degree, and even contributes towards your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)
