Barbara Gomes is a Research Officer with expertise in health services research, project and clinical trial management, and health data research. Her current work focuses on emergency and pre-hospital care. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and has previously conducted research in nanotechnology, biosensors, biointerfaces, and point-of-care diagnostics. Her career spans academia, healthcare research, and industry, bringing together a diverse range of interdisciplinary experiences. Barbara also holds an APM Project Management Qualification.
