Dr Margaret Byrne is Year 2 Integrated Clinical Method (ICM) Lead on the Graduate Entry Medicine course at Swansea University Medical School and is also a local GP. Margaret joined the ICM team in 2013 as a GP Clinical Tutor and subsequently took on the role of module lead later the same year. In addition to teaching clinical and communication skills, Margaret, as module lead, is responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the ICM curriculum. Margaret has an interest in the assessment of clinical skills and joined the Clinical Assessment Team in 2019.
Margaret is a member of the UK Council for Clinical Communication (UKCCC) and of the UK Council of Clinical Skills and Simulation Teachers (UKCCSST)
