I teach on the MSc in Abnormal & Clinical Psychology and final year undergraduate courses. I am a Clinical Psychologist and spent a long time working in mental health services in the NHS, especially those of children, families and in acute health services. I enjoy drawing on that experience in my teaching and engaging students with the world of applied psychology. I am currently involved in researching the psychological impact of experiencing venous thrombo-embolism (VTE; blood clots). I am interested in understanding responses to, and experiences of, illness and the promotion of wellbeing.

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, University of Plymouth (Bristol Course)
  • MSc, Psychology of Health, Bristol University
  • BA (Hons), Psychology, Swansea University
