Prof Dean Harris is a consultant colorectal surgeon in Swansea Bay University Health Board and honorary professor at Swansea University Medical School.

He has active research interests in cancer diagnostics and in the therapeutic role of the gut microbiome.

He has co-supervised a number of researchers to higher degree awards.
