Career Highlights

Teaching Interests

April lectures on the Genetics and Biochemistry BSc and MSci degree programmes, as well as the Biomedical Sciences MSc degree. Specifically, April utilises the symbiotic relationship between teaching and research, contributing to immunology, biochemistry, chemistry, and reproductive biology lectures. She effectively teaches by bridging the gap from classroom to lab and has successfully supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Several students have contributed as named authors on scientific papers and have gone on to study medicine or pursue a further research career with a PhD.
