We are looking forward to welcoming you to the College of Arts and Humanities (COAH) in September.

Click here for your Welcome Week Timetable.

Welcome Week is your chance to meet your lecturers, and find out more about how your course will be taught and what you’ll learn over the next few years. It’ll be a chance to get to know your coursemates, and start building connections within our vibrant COAH Community. We’ll also be letting you know about all the academic and welfare support on offer within the College, and the wider University.

While you’re waiting to start here, check out our Instagram page to find out more about how our students have been getting involved at the College over the past few years, including the College Ball, Community Days, Symposiums, and our regular Society Pub Quiz.

COAH Societies

Becoming part of a society can be a great way to get involved in student life and meet like-minded people. There’s such a range of societies within Swansea Students’ Union there really is something for everyone! Our academic departments have their own student-led societies who play an active role in organising social activities within the College. For the full list and contact details of the societies you can get involved with, check out the Students’ Union societies webpage!

Welcome, from your College Rep!

As a College we place a high value on student feedback, and work in partnership with you and the Student Union to listen to your views, and take your suggestions forward to continually improve your student experience. Emily Williams is one of your COAH Undergraduate College Reps for 2020-21.

"My name is Emily and I am so excited to be your Undergraduate College of Arts and Humanities Representative this year! I am a 3rd Year BA Egyptology student who dreams of one day excavating in Egypt and being a lecturer at University. Swansea has been such an amazing experience for me, and I really hope to help make this year’s COAH students, and university students, informed and engaged with all the events and activities we will have on. If you have any queries, problems or general questions once you’re here, please don't hesitate to contact me! I can't wait to meet you!"
