About
Charlotte is an early years researcher in the National Centre for Population Health and Wellbeing Research, She has a background in public health and health promotion and is wellbeing lead on a primary school health network (Health and Attainment of Pupils involved in a Primary Education Network;HAPPEN-www.happen-wales.co.uk), which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children. HAPPEN was shortlisted for outstanding impact on health and wellbeing at the University Research and Innovation awards.
Charlotte is involved in evaluation of school based interventions and interested in amplifying children's voice in influencing their own health and wellbeing.
She is currently involved in developing a birth cohort exploring the impact of pregnancy and the early years on future health, wellbeing and school outcomes of children growing up in Wales.
