Emenike obtained his BSc. in Biochemistry from Temple University Philadelphia USA, MSc in Drug Discovery & Development from the University of Sunderland and PhD. In Gastroenterology with focus on cancer genetics in colorectal cancer from the University of Nottingham.
He is based within the Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology (RBGO) and his current research is focused on identifying and evaluating novel Anti-Drug Conjugate (ADC) targets of ovarian cancer through the application of characterization techniques that enable a more robust assessment of the affinity, tumor penetration, and cell internalization properties of ADCs.
Additionally, other clinical research interests are centered around gynecological (ovarian, endometrial) as well as colorectal cancer.
