About

Matthew is a haemorheologist, his research is focused on translating knowledge and technical know-how from engineering/ physical sciences into advances in healthcare technology. Over the past 10 years he has worked in a clinical environment bridging the gap between health, science and engineering.

He is a senior researcher in the Medical School of Swansea University and laboratory manager at the Welsh Centre of Emergency Medicine Research at Swansea University in Morriston Hospital. Matthews original post graduate studies were in biochemical engineering and his post graduate studies were focused on the application and study of biomedical engineering.
