Dr Stavros Vlatakis is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences, Swansea University. He is a GPhC-registered pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King’s College London and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Formulation and Entrepreneurship from UCL School of Pharmacy. His research focuses on cancer drug delivery using lipid nanoparticles, digital innovations in pharmacy education, and the translation of pharmaceutical technologies into clinical practice. He has also worked with university spin-out companies, gaining expertise in translational research and medicines authorisation. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), demonstrating his commitment to inclusive and innovative teaching, and he maintains active national and international collaborations in clinical pharmacy, translational pharmaceutics, and healthcare innovation.
