About

Dr Georgina Marsh currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy. Georgina's research interests focuses on the development of novel dosage forms tailored to the needs of the patient, including; pharmaceutical additive manufacturing (3D printing), paediatrics, biomimetics and pharmacy education. Georgina teaches on the MPharm programme and Pharmacy foundation year.

Georgina gained a Master of Pharmacy with Honours (MPharm Hons) 1st class degree from The University of Nottingham in 2012, followed by an industrial pre-registration year and a PhD in the CDT at the University of Nottingham for formulation sciences and targeted therapeutics, evaluating particle adhesion to 3D printed micron scale morphologies. Georgina has since worked for AstraZeneca as a senior formulation scientist in product development and an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, where Georgina was the Programme Manager of the first Malaysia Young Entrepreneur Scheme 2021.

She is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, is a registered pharmacist with the GPhC and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
