The Executive Team

Dr John Gammon is Deputy Head of College (Innovation, Engagement and Organisational Development).

His specialist subjects include governance in the NHS and infection control practice.

Professor Mark Blagrove is the Deputy Head of College (Research).
His interests include sleep, memory consolidation during sleep, aetiology of nightmares, relationship between dream content and waking life, and possible functions of sleep and dreaming.

Professor Michelle Lee is the Deputy Head of College (Learning & Teaching and Professional Practice). Michelle's interests are; obesity, appetite and eating behaviour. Her current research focus is the role of cognitive processes in body weight management.

Mrs Julia Pridmore is the Director of the College of Human and Health Sciences' Health and Well Being Academy. Her interests include quality improvement, governance and patient safety.

Mr Garry Astley is the Associate Head of College (Operations). He supports the Head of College as part of the Executive Management team which is responsible for strategic management of the College. He is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant & has served the profession on special interest UK panels.
