No problem, simply get in touch. Email us at admissions@swansea.ac.uk with your UCAS and Swansea University Student Number, which course you originally applied for and which course you would like to change to. Our admissions team will then work on the request to change your course if possible.

If you've used all five choices, you may be able to use Extra, a free service available for you to apply to one course at a time between 23 February and 4 July. You can use Extra if:

• You've received decisions from all five universities or colleges
• You weren't accepted or you decided to decline all the offers you received

If you didn't use all five choices, you can add more choices one at a time to your application, providing:

• It's before 30 June 2023
• You've not accepted any offers or been declined by your choices

If you only originally applied to one choice (so paid at the reduced fee), all you have to do is pay the extra £4.50 to allow you to add more choices.

Good news, we are still accepting applications for these courses, and you can still apply through UCAS until 30^th June 2023. Any applications later than this would need to be made via Clearing.

It’s important to note we encourage applications as soon as possible so you can arrange student finances and accommodation.

UCAS Applications for September 2024 entry will open in September 2023.

Here’s some of the key information you will need to gather to submit your application:

• Your education history and confirmed or predicated grades
• Employment history (if you have one)
• A strong personal statement
• An appropriate reference

If you are at school or college, they should be able to provide you with help when applying and provide a reference for you.

The Personal Statement is the most important part of your application as it’s your own chance to personalise your application and tell us about you. It’s also something you can start working on early. We have lots of advice on writing a Personal Statement, take a look at our webpage!
