The College of Human and Health Sciences draws together the disciplines of health, nursing, midwifery, social care, social policy and psychology.
We are the largest provider of health care education in Wales, providing an exciting and dynamic environment in which to study and further an academic or professional career.
Our mission is to conduct high quality international research that meets the needs of the people of south-west Wales and beyond.
Students who are prepared to work in Wales after gaining their degree (two years employment for a 3 year degree programme) can apply for a financial support package offered through the NHS Wales Bursary scheme to cover tuition fees.
This applies to a number of healthcare courses in Wales starting spring 2018.
Courses covered: BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing, BSc (Hons) Child Nursing, BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing, BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science, BMid Midwifery and Dip HE Paramedic Science.
The work we do is underpinned by a culture of connectedness from the students we educate, to the research we carry out and through to our impact on the wider world. Integral throughout all of this is the involvement of patients and care providers in our work, ensuring it remains relevant to the challenges facing our society.
We are thrilled to announce that Swansea Univiersity Nursing has been ranked in the Top 100 in the 2018 QS World Rankings.
