About The Role
The Market Insight Manager will play a leading role in providing market intelligence, analysis and reporting for Swansea University, with a focus on qualitative research.
Working closely with the Market Data Insights Manager and colleagues across the university, the role holder will be responsible for providing insight to inform the development of the University’s programme portfolio, ensuring a market led approach, as well as analysing the effectiveness of the University’s marketing campaigns and general market research.
The Market Insight Manager will lead a team of two Market Insight Officers, who cover a varied portfolio of projects.
The post holder will be expected to engage with a range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, professional services teams and the Senior Leadership Team. Applicants should have an understanding of qualitative data collection and analysis, market research techniques and reporting and presenting of analytical information in a clear and concise way.
The position is based at Singleton Campus, with occasional travel to the Bay Campus.
The service is currently under a redesign review, however the role will run to April 2025.
