This new module focuses on abnormal states and pathophysiology of many of the body¿s organs and systems, and covers in depth, diseases and disorders which are clinically observed in these systems.
This level 6 module will cover the pathophysiology of the following organ systems and disease e.g. ¿ Nervous System ¿ Endocrine System ¿ Renal System ¿ Immunology ¿ Cancer
This module builds on the students¿ knowledge and understanding of human physiological processes which are fundamental to health and wellbeing. Students should extend their comprehension of systems failure and the adverse effect this has on maintenance of health. Students should have a basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
This module is used to underpin the applied knowledge required to understand the clinical presentation and management of specific long term and chronic conditions.
