Eligibility

If your university has an exchange agreement with us, then you can apply to come as an exchange student.  You can view our full list of partners here.

If your university does not have an agreement with us, then you can still come to Swansea as a fee paying visiting student.  Please click here for further information about this option. 

How to apply for an exchange

Students must be selected by their home University for exchange with Swansea University. You will receive detailed information on the application procedure and an application form from your home university's International Exchange / Study Abroad Office. 

Applications must be received by the application deadline or they cannot be considered. For Autumn semsester:31st May; For Spring semster: 31st October.

How to apply as a visiting student

If you would like to be considered for admission during the 2011/12 academic year as a fee-paying visiting student please contact the studyabroad@swansea.ac.uk. For an application form. For more information please click here.

You will need to ask one of your professors at your university if he/she would complete the confidential reference on your behalf. 

As soon as your application has been received, it will be given prompt and careful consideration.

Further information

Accommodation - Visiting & exchange students coming to Swansea will receive help in finding accommodation from the Swansea University Accommodation Office. Places are available in University residences as well as in University managed flats and houses in Swansea. You will be given instructions on how to apply once we have received your application.
