Join the Biosciences team at Swansea University
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Bioscience department at Swansea University (in collaboration with the Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research) as a Postdoctoral Research Officer, where research on epigenetic and microbiome markers of disease and stress resistance in fish will be undertaken.
This role is part of the Cure4Aqua project in collaboration with 30 partners across Europe. Cure4Aqua will develop new approaches to prevent aquatic fish diseases by introducing and validating novel technologies for early detection of diseases, while also supporting the advancement of alternative treatments to replace pharmaceuticals in disease control. Swansea University leads on this workpackage and will be delivered in collaboration with the Institut de Ciences del Mar (Barcelona), Nord University (Bodo), the University of Copenhagen and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (Heraklion).
