Dr Laura Broome specialises in forensic psychology, with a focus on criminal and legal processes, sexual offending, investigating, and understanding criminal behaviours and knowledge mobilisation (ie using research to inform policy and practice). Much of her work involves engagement with external agencies and services, including prison and probation services, the police, and third sector.

Learning from the impact of and recovery from COVID-19 within prisons 2021

UKRI / ESRC funded multi-site, multi-method investigation of the psychological & behavioural impacts of COVID-19 within prisons using the OPDP as a specific case example.
