Tuesday 7th March

ELTS Taster Session - If you have an English language condition to meet, then Swansea is here to help. Our very own English Language Training Service (ELTS) deliver a range of language support courses and services designed to support you in your ambitions. If you would like a peek behind the curtains at what studying an ELTS programme is like, then this is the event for you!

Wednesday 8th March

Academic Taster: Public Health/Media/Politics/Education - Delivered by one of our academics, Dr Kelly Roberts, this session explored the module 'Welfare Across the Globe', part of our syllabus for our Public Health, Politics and Media and Communication programmes. Get an insight into the course content, assessments, key concepts and more about this module by catching up on what you missed.

Academic Taster: Business, Marketing, Economics - Join yet more of our academic staff here at The College for another of our academic taster session. This time we explored modules and content key to any students seeking to study a management or related degree at Swansea University. Whether you have an offer to study such a course with us or just want to learn more this event is for you.

Live Q&A with the Academic and Student Experience Team - Featuring Donna from our fabulous Academic and Student Experience Team, this Taster Month event will shine a light in the support that students receive once they have enrolled onto their study programme with us at the College. From attandance monitoring to personal tutors, this session has it all!

Monday 20th March

Support at Swansea Webinar - Featuring guests from the Centre for Academic Success and International@campuslife, this event will focus on some of the support that our students can receive while studying with us. As well as everything that The College has to offer, our students also have full access to Swansea University's extensive support services. Join us in this session to learn about just two of them.

Academic Taster: Engineering - For the scientifically minded student, join us as we explore engineering at Swansea. Get a sneak peek at what learning and teaching at The College is like for those on any of our engineering courses. Aerospace, chemical, mechanical and more, we'll be on hand to answer your questions and introduce you to the discipline.

Accommodation in Swansea - The final week of Taster Month kicks off with a webinar devoted to all things accommodation! Whether you are looking for on-campus or private accommodation here in Swansea, this webinar will cover everything that you need to know about living with us.

Support Module Taster Session - Here at The College our goal is to develop your subject specific and general academic skills. With this in mind, students at The College will study a handful of support modules covering a range of key academic skills from critical thinking to writing skills. Catch-up on this taster in our 'Interactive Learning Skills and Communication' (ILSC) module to get a feel for these essential skills modules.
