If You Have to Drive

At Swansea University, in line with our Sustainability Strategy, we encourage students and staff to choose active and sustainable travel options wherever possible.

There is no parking on campus for students between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday*, so if you’re living on campus or close by, cycling or walking is your best form of transport. For those living further afield then we recommend the local bus services.

*There is very limited pay & display parking on site at the Bay Campus, however the car park is extremely busy so we do not encourage students to rely on finding a parking space within the facility.

If you require reasonable adjustments for medical issues, live out of the Swansea University bus zone area, have dependent children in our crèche or you’re on a sports scholarship, you may be eligible for a parking permit.
