£3600 based on 2 courses, 4 week programme (consisting of £2456 programme cost and approximately £1144 additional costs, such as flights, accommodation and visas)

Funding levels have now been reduced to the following amounts as a result of all Santander bursaries being allocated. Funding applications will be assessed every Thursday and students will receive follow up information about available funding shortly thereafter.

Funding available to eligible students for the 4 week programme, consisting of 2 courses:

• up to £2300 for students eligible for the standard bursary
• up to £2600 for students eligible for the WP enhanced bursary
• minimum bursary of £1250 for eligible students and subject to availability

Funding for up to 3 students remaining for this programme. Apply as soon as possible to secure funding as all funding is limited! If you are applying for the 4 week programme consisting of 1 course, the funding available will be reduced as a result of the lower programme cost.

You will be responsible for making programme payments directly to NTU. You will receive your funding at the start of your placement - please factor this into your budgeting! Please do not make any financial commitments to your chosen programme until you have been through the travel approval process and received confirmation of travel approval from Swansea University.

To receive funding, you will be required to complete and return the necessary documentation and fulfil the requirements of the funding you are awarded. 

All programmes are offered subject to full travel approval. Students will be required to complete the university’s international travel approval process in order to participate in summer programmes and receive any associated funding. Swansea University’s travel cover is in place for students whose travel plans have been approved by the university. However, Swansea University’s travel cover does not cover any disruption arising out of Covid-19. Students are therefore responsible for any potential financial loss resulting from disruption caused by Covid-19. • Students must be enrolled at Swansea University
• Students cannot be in the final year of study
• Postgraduate students can apply for funding but must provide evidence that their academic supervisor approves of their participation.
• International students should speak to International@CampusLife to check the impact of the work placement on their Student Route visa

You will require full travel approval from Swansea University in order to participate. Therefore, please do not make any financial commitments to your chosen programme until you have been through the travel approval process and received confirmation of travel approval from Swansea University.

1. Apply for funding:

• Complete and return the Go Global Funding Application Form to studyabroad@swansea.ac.uk before MARCH 1OTH 2023
• We will confirm your funding eligibility
• We will nominate you to NTU

2. Apply to the programme:

• Check NTU website to confirm 2023 programme costs and all relevant information about the programme - https://gem.ntu.edu.sg/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgramAngular&id=11025 
• Swansea University will need to nominate you to NTU
• You will then receive detailed application information from NTU directly. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 31ST 2023
• We advise against paying the deposit or making any financial commitments until you have received international travel approval from Swansea University. You can inform your programme provider that you are required to complete this process and request an extension on any deadline for the deposit payment. If you encounter any issues at all, please let our team know via studyabroad@swansea.ac.uk
• Notify the Go Global team via studyabroad@swansea.ac.uk if you are accepted onto the programme
