Victoria is an early career researcher working in the field of air quality. Her particular interests include air quality legislation, policy and management, and indoor air quality. She has extensive experience in environmental management, gained through 15 years’ experience working in the sector. She has worked in private consultancy, for a local authority and for the main environmental regulator for Wales, Natural Resources Wales (NRW), where she was the lead on air quality and Habitats Regulations Assessments for NRW’s Permitting Service and was responsible for translating the requirements of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 into NRW’s working practices. She also managed the Regulated Industry permitting team, covering all environmental permitting functions, including heavy industrial, radioactivity and greenhouse gas processes, for the whole of Wales. She is a member of the campaign group Healthy Air Cymru (HAC) and the All-Wales Expert Panel on Air Quality (which advises Welsh Government), and also advises Welsh Government on Local Air Quality Management.
