About

Dr Hao Li is a Senior Lecturer in Finance since January 2020. Before joined Swansea University, he worked as an Assistant Professor (lecturer) in Finance at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh campus from 2014 to 2019. Prior to academic career, Hao worked as an Equity Analysist in a securities corporation and then a senior research fellow in an Investment Trust.

Hao is a fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) since 2017 and holder of Certificate of Securities Professional since 2011.

Hao obtained Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) from Heriot-Watt University in 2016. He earned PhD in 2011 and MSc in Investment Analysis (with distinction) in 2006, both from the University of Stirling. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with BA Business Administration in 2003.
